Monique Carr

Monique Carr is a contemporary landscape painter known for her vibrant, expressive style. Born in Montreal, Canada, she spent many years living in the Cayman Islands before settling in East Tennessee in 1999. In 2024, drawn by the tropical spirit she longed for, Monique and her husband made Vero Beach, Florida their new home.

Following a successful 20-year career in graphic design, Monique transitioned to fine art in 2010, developing an abstract impressionistic approach that fuses bold color, rich texture, and dynamic movement. Her work radiates emotion and energy, inviting viewers to experience the landscape through a lens of joy, vitality, and deep connection to place.
