Caroline Koyman

Art and creativity have long been central to Caroline Koyman’s life, shaping not only how she sees the world, but how she expresses it. An accomplished acrylic painter, Caroline is best known for her vibrant floral works that celebrate the beauty, movement, and emotion found in nature.

Dividing her time between Florida and Ottawa, Caroline draws continual inspiration from the changing landscapes around her. Whether traveling abroad, spending time at her family’s lake house, or simply observing the shifting light across water and sky, she translates these experiences into expressive, color-rich compositions.

Her greatest inspiration, however, blooms close to home. An avid gardener influenced by her mother and grandmothers, Caroline has cultivated both a garden and a deep artistic sensibility rooted in color, form, and seasonal rhythm. The bold shapes and luminous hues of fresh flowers spark her creative process. Painting en plein air or working from freshly cut blooms, she uses confident, fluid brushstrokes and layered acrylic textures to create impressionistic yet realistic works that radiate vitality and joy.

Beyond the canvas, Caroline’s art reflects her generous spirit. In 2018, she traveled to Uganda for mission work, spending time at the Amani Family Center, which supports vulnerable families. She considers it a privilege that a portion of the proceeds from her artwork continues to directly benefit the clinic — allowing her creativity to extend its impact far beyond the studio.
