Francine Belleau
Francine Belleau draws inspiration from color found in the natural world. Movement, reflection, light, is what fascinates her when she takes on a subject for painting. She is inspired by bold yet harmonious color combinations. Although formally trained as an engineer, Francine has always had an interest in the arts. Her analytical training helps her in composing her painting subjects.
Francine transitioned to being a full time artist fourteen years ago. She works mainly in oils finding this medium easier to blend. She has completed many commission works, as well as donated art to numerous foundations for auctions. She lives with her husband and two dogs, splitting their time between their homes in Ottawa and Mont Tremblant. Along with painting, Francine enjoys staying physically active and stays close to her four children who live in four different cities in Canada and the United States.
